After weeks of leaking, Motorola officially launched the Razr 2025 product line, marking a strong return in the high -end folding phone race. Of the three versions introduced this year, the focus focused on the Razr Ultra model – the most powerful folding phone ever of the company. Razr Ultra not only threatens the position of the Galaxy Z Flip7, but also impresses with the advanced design, especially the rare versions of the back grain and Alcantara back in the smartphone world.

All models are equipped with large secondary screen, rear camera cluster placed in an island cluster, meeting IP48 water resistance standards, with a redesigned hinge and less exposed folding part. Motorola also pre -installed the AI Perplexity application optimized for the secondary screen and offered three months free use Perplexity Pro package.
Motorola Razr Ultra 2025: expensive but powerful
Razr Ultra is the most advanced model with Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, 16GB RAM, 512GB or 1TB optional internal memory. It owns a 4,700mAh battery, supports 68W fast charging, 30W wireless and 5W reverse wireless charger.

The main screen is a 7 -inch OLED panel, 165Hz scan frequency, maximum brightness of 4,500 nits. The secondary screen is also 4 inch OLED, 165Hz scan frequency, 3,000 nits brightness. The device has Gorilla Glass Ceramic protective glass layer for higher durability.
Camera system includes: 50MP main camera and super wide 50MP camera that supports macro shooting. Although there is no telephoto camera, Motorola said the main camera can zoom digital up to 30x, but the actual quality is still a question mark. The device also has a 50MP selfie camera inside the main screen.
Motorola Razr and Razr Plus 2025: Gentle upgrade
These two models almost retain the parameters of the 2024 version. Razr Plus 2025 still uses Snapdragon 8S Gen 3 chip, 12GB RAM, 256GB memory, 4,000mAh battery, 45W charger with wired and 15W wireless. The main screen is OLED 6.9 inch, 165Hz, 2,400 nits; 4 -inch secondary screen, also reached 2,400 nits. The camera includes 50MP main camera, 2x 50MP telephoto camera and 32MP selfie camera.

The Razr 2025 standard uses the Dimensity 7400X chip (slightly lifted from Dimensity 7300X), 8GB RAM, 256GB memory, 6.9 -inch OLED 12.9 -inch main screen, 3.6 -inch secondary screen. The 4,500mAh battery supports 30W charger with wired and 15W wireless. The main camera is 50MP with OIS, super wide angle 13MP supports macro, 32MP selfie camera.
All three models meet the IP48 standard, instead of IPX8 as last year – does not bring significant improvements in dust resistance.
Who is everywhere
Motorola continues to expand Moto AI feature on all three versions. The notable features include AI image creation, Catch Me Up (Summary of notifications), Remember this (memorizing important information), and Next Move (suggesting the time to use AI). There is also Playlist Studio, which allows creating a list of music based on user description.
In the photography segment, all three devices are equipped with Group Photo features (similar to Best Take on Google Pixel) and Signature Style – help adjust the image color according to user habits. However, it is unclear how the specific operation of this feature.
Price and time of sale
Razr Ultra 2025 costs from $ 1,299 for 16GB/512GB version. There is no price for 1TB version. The device has many color versions, including Alcantara shell version and a wooden grain reminiscent of the old Moto X series.


RAZR Plus 2025 12GB/256GB version costs 999 USD, while Razr version is 8GB/256GB standard costs $ 699.
All three models will give in advance from May 7 and officially open for sale in the US from May 15.
