From today, on April 24, customers can receive a special badge at all Apple Store globally on the occasion of “Global Close Your Rings Day” – an event to encourage Apple Watch users to complete all three activities in the Activity application.
This badge is the physical version of digital rewards in the Activity application that users often receive when completing the daily movement goals. The design of the badge bears the typical image of three color rings: exercise, exercise and stand up – a symbol familiar to Apple Watch users.

To receive the badge, you just need to go to the Apple Store and ask the store staff. As noted by users, the completion of three activities today is not a mandatory condition to receive badges, but the policy may vary depending on the store and the country. Apple also noted that the number of badges is limited and will be broadcast until out of stock.
In the press release, Apple wrote:
“To celebrate the Global Close Your Rings Day, customers can receive a special badge inspired by the movement rewards in the application. The badge is broadcast at all Apple Store globally from April 24, until the goods are out of stock.”
Today also marked 10 years since the first Apple Watch was launched on April 24, 2015. Therefore, this badge also means a small souvenir for the Apple Watch users worldwide.
Jeff Williams, CEO of Apple Watch, shared on this occasion:
“The Apple Watch has changed the way people think about, monitor and interact with their health and physical health. A decade ago, we introduced the Activity rounds – and since then, the Apple Watch has developed to provide a comprehensive feature to support everyone. We get a letter from the user almost every day, sharing about the Apple Watch has helped them exercise more, even their health.”
